Iris Nebula I captured at a dark site in the mountains with only 6hrs of exposures. I need to get out the city more.....
Captured M106 and Friends a few weeks ago. We've had solid cloud cover ever since. #M106 #Astrophotography

I captured the Bubble Nebula back in August, but after processing many different times, I think I'm finally happy with it. This is the Final^10 version with nearly 40 hrs of exposures. The bubble is made up of stellar winds racing outward from a star at 4 million mph.

Only 1 hr on the Horsehead and Flame Nebula with H-alpha filter. This is going to be good. It needs about 10 more hours and some RGB stars.

I think the #US #Government should use #Mastodon instead of the #Birdsite since they could host their own instance, be independent of #corporateinfluence and more easily preserve records on their own server.
Here is 28 hrs of exposures, this faint nebula is called the Fossil Footprint. I had to manage lots of dew on my mirror and some windy conditions, but it turned out great!

Hashtags are the #algorithm on #mastodon. Use them as much as possible in posts. Follow hashtags on your timeline. You decide what you want to see, not a corporation. #tutorial #decentralized #socialmedia
My image of the Wizard Nebula taken with 8" Newtonian and mono camera.
Another #astrophotography piece of mine! Here is the Heart of the Heart Nebula, aka #mellote15. The column of dust and gas is ~8LY.
