Hi everyone,
Today I’m excited to share something that’s been bringing me a lot of joy over the past few months, my new Mac app, ChimeKeeper!
I’ve always loved chiming clocks. They’re a gentle, calming way to stay aware of the time, especially while working. And I’ve long felt that your computer, the place where so much of your day happens, is the perfect home for that experience.
There have been other Mac apps that try to do this, but I was never satisfied with the audio quality, so I decided to build my own.
ChimeKeeper brings the sound of a traditional chiming clock to your Mac, right from your menu bar. It quietly marks the hours and quarter hours, then fades into the background, just like a real clock.
Some of my favorite features:
Built-in Westminster chime: rich, high-quality recordings (not computer-generated or MIDI)
Custom sound packs: use your own WAV files to recreate your favorite clock
Quiet hours, set times when chimes won’t play
Flexible controls, toggle hourly and quarter-hour chimes independently
And of course, the app is fully accessible with VoiceOver.
ChimeKeeper is available now on the Mac App Store for $4.99, and I’d love for you to check it out.
I’ve been using this every day over the past few months and absolutely love it, and honestly, I can’t remember the last time I ran one of my physical clocks. I hope you’ll enjoy it too.

New Accessible TeamTalk Client for Mac – Looking for Beta Testers | AppleVis

Hello everyone, I've developed a native TeamTalk client for macOS that's fully accessible with VoiceOver. As you know, the official TeamTalk version on Mac is completely inaccessible, so I built an alternative from scratch.

hay everyone! I am thrilled to anounce the release of our new trivia game, quizzy! quizzy is a trivia based game where you need to answer Multiple choice questions to progress. unlike many other trivia based games, quizzy fetches the questions from online sources, insuring you get new questions each time you play. thanks @Aryan for making the release truly possible. you can find the github repo at https://github.com/amanKG777/Quizzy feedbacks/suggestions are welcome. also feel free to open any issue on the delicated page of the repo.
@BTyson Yeah, still play mine from time to time.
@munchkinbear @MariahL @ky0les @MewProjects It only deletes from the active timelines that are open. If you restart FastSM or reload the timelines you'll see them again.
I have a link for you all. Want to try out a very early beta of TeamTalk manager? Have at it!
Please keep in mind that as stated earlier, this is early software. Things will be broken or may not behave as expected.
We have tested it for a few weeks now, most functionality works and there are more features planned.
