Hocus side, two and removing silence | AppleVis

I am trying to learn some things about Hokusai too. I found a clip of a record scratch, which has a bunch of silence before the actual scratching sound and I’m trying to find the same way to get rid of all the silence. Is there an easy way to do that? I know there is probably a way to somehow move the recording head where the play head to where I want it and which I’m still trying to figure out and then cut out the silence, but I am trying to see if there’s another way to do that. Any help would be very welcome.

Does anyone use the touchpad on the Apple TV remote? | AppleVis

I have just bought my first Apple TV and am trying to get my head around how best to use it. It's not quite as user friendly as my Fire TV Cube but hopefully it will click into place. Anyway I notice by default the remote uses the touch pad so you can clumsily swipe up and down and tap the middle instead of using the more precise clicky things around the sides. I found the option to turn this touch pad off and things seem a little easier to use.

Hey all. Anybody using this thing? I've installed it, I have it pointed at a ton of music. I can't get it to play, output is set correctly, and there appear to be no keyboard shortcuts and no place to set them. I've tried going into the table of music and picking "all music",, I've tried focusing on a specific song and telling it to play from the menu, nothing gets me music.

Hello all: am using calendar to arrange my day meetings etc. but the problem, is that sometimes my day as some problems and i started earlier or later, so if i should start at 11, i started @ 12 or 1, so all my meetings should be shifted by 1 or 2 hours, should i edit each meeting manually? or is there a quick solution for this? am open to a mac solution also Any help will be highly appreciated

Hi all. So obviously you can do screen recording, and you can use the microphone. When recording in Garage Band, no screen recording, if I touch the screen to slide around and get to a button or whatever, I get just a bunch of noise from it. Is there some secret to not getting this, other than an external microphone, or running the iPhone into an audio interface and recording your voice on a separate track ,essentially using your computer's microphone as an external microphone?
