@mikahsargent Listening to MacBreak Weekly, nobody mentioned that ChromeOS has also supported accessing your phone through your desktop for a long while. It does SOUND like a cool feature, but in reality everything that I would access on my phone is already accessible on the laptop.

IMO, this will be another "glam" feature that will fall into the abyss after you show it off once.

Apple is not using Google's RCS, but I thought that it had been reported that Apple and Google would work together to make encryption a part of the core GSMA standard?

Listening to TWIG. Leo is right. The AI voice that he noticed is black. It's not a new thing. The Google assistant voice choices have race. It's not the accent or dialect. It's something in the resonance.

@BobHarvey I have iTunes installed on the PC, but it didn't allow me to browse the iPhone's file system. It only wanted to look for media to migrate 😒

@brass75 I thought about that, but I didn't have enough space in my G Drive. I'd really like a local solution though. I did look to see if there were any free services that I could use for a one off 😁

Is there a consistent way to get large files directly off of an iPhone if you don't use a Mac? I was throwing all the tools at the ridiculous situation yesterday. It took me hours. Ultimately, I had to creat smaller files to get them to transfer correctly. Yuck.

@gruber The company issued an OtterBox, so it's rocking an OtterBox. I usually go with Chinese brand TPU cases for my own phones. TPU is plenty protective unless you work in construction or some such thing.
