Is there a consistent way to get large files directly off of an iPhone if you don't use a Mac? I was throwing all the tools at the ridiculous situation yesterday. It took me hours. Ultimately, I had to creat smaller files to get them to transfer correctly. Yuck.

@Johnathanblade1 iTunes

Obviously no-one in their right mind wants iTunes on a PC . But it comes with useful utilities

Get this version of iTunes.

Don't run the installer. Open it as though it is a zip file.

Extract and run the installer mobile device support.

You can now plug in the iPhone and browse it with windows file explorer

@BobHarvey I have iTunes installed on the PC, but it didn't allow me to browse the iPhone's file system. It only wanted to look for media to migrate 😒
@BobHarvey I'll give this version a go though. Thanks!
@Johnathanblade1 why you need an older version is just because the later downloads can't be opened up separately

@Johnathanblade1 if the files are bigger than the FAT limit ?4GB? You are stuffed.

Use the web version of iCloud
