How does our country heal? Silencing one side won’t work, but neither will letting the lies and bullying continue. The far right republicans seem to want to push legislation that is more and more blatantly anti democratic and more like a fascist state. I get that people don’t want something pushed into their field of view all day, but there has to be a compromise. You can’t just demand certain lifestyles be wiped from public view, it doesn’t work that way.

@zentifa I’ve heard the same thing at the many truck stops I frequent driving all across the US. All this talk about Hunters laptop and nothing to really show for it. Same with the list of people on a private plane. It’s all just distraction from issues that truly matter and affect the average citizens.
@jeffjarvis I agree! I had one manager at a social service job, upon first meeting me, asked point blank two questions: if her age and gender was going to be an issue. I simply pointed to her degrees as well as mentioned the very positive remarks from other managers I had heard previously, and said that those were much more important than age and gender. You are correct sir.
@jeffjarvis anyone comparing Twitter to WW2… is so far out of touch, they either are jaded or simply don’t care.
