I really want to write a snarky satirical post about how every school shooting should result in a national holiday so we have more time for all the “thoughts and prayers”, but I hugged my kids this morning when they went to their first day of school and all I can think about is that I want them back at home. Parents and kids shouldn’t be dealing with this anxiety and carnage.
