@hacks4pancakes there's an important and often overlooked phrase there "what LLMs are and are not".
I'm hearing too regularly "It's a tool. You have to understand how to use it." from people who overlook what that tool is and isn't, so they still don't see the pitfalls. Even some people who do know what the LLM is/isn't rely on talking about "how to use it" directing other users away from understanding what the tool actually is and what it isn't.
Maybe if more users understood what the tool was rather than how to use it, we'd hear less stories about people substituting table salt for sodium bromide in their diets or travelling thousands of miles to meet their internet totally-not-a-bot girl/boyfriend.
