There's something so incredibly gaslighty about having people defend actions that prolong the pandemic by saying they want the pandemic to be over.
I DO TOO, DUDE. A lot more than you do, in fact, because I'm willing to maintain drastically changed behaviour for years to achieve that.

The sides are not "I love pandemics" vs "I don't like pandemics". They're "I want to pretend the pandemic is over while ensuring it never ends" vs "I want it to ACTUALLY end."

Saw a pretty awesome double rainbow today in Tacoma. I had a lot of fun googling the meaning of a double rainbow and you probably would too. My favorite is to see it as a symbol of transformation. The primary rainbow represents the material world and the secondary rainbow, the spiritual world. Therefore, a double rainbow indicates a spiritual transformation for the onlooker.

By the way, Southwest blew $5.6 billion on stock buybacks in the past few years.

They could have made investments in their services and infrastructure.

They could have prepared for extreme weather events.
