What is Dark Money?
Dark Money refers to political spending meant to influence the decision of a voter, where the donor is not disclosed and the source of the money is unknown. Depending upon the circumstances, Dark Money can refer to funds spent by a political nonprofit or a super PAC. Here's a great explanation of how dark money works, and allows anonymous big money to own our politicians and dive the direction of our country.

Tomorrow, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear the case Moore v. Harper, a gerrymandering power grab by the North Carolina’s state legislature.
Today, I joined State and local advocates at a press conference in Raleigh to call attention to Moore’s dangerous implications for the future of our democracy.

I'm part of the LGBTQIA+ community and totally condemn transphobia.

This weekend marked a significant escalation of rightwing American #Christofascists.
Nazis aggressively protested in front of drag events in Columbus Ohio and Lakeland Florida.
Rightwing terrorists shut down power for 10s of thousands in North Carolina.
This is getting worse FAST. The FBI is taking notice, but this is getting worse and more dangerous with greater consequences.
We all need to be paying attention to this, because it’s going to get worse.

Calling a targeted attack on a county's power grid "vandalism" instead of the #domesticTerrorism that it actually is is sort of like calling a concerted attack on the Capitol to overthrow the government "a riot" instead of the #insurrection that it truly was.
And one of those insurrectionists was involved in this act of terrorism.
