I feel they are only doing this because they are obliged to. The DOJ is most likely investigating everything already.

thankfully it is well known the DOJ has been investigating long before this referral will come down, so the GOP can't say the DOJ is being political about charges. (though they will anyway, they live in their own reality )

I hope the referrals though include names of those in Congress.

@MeidasTouch So maybe after the 2-year anniversary of 1/6, the DOJ might do something?

I'll be interested when something actually happens. I'm extremely pessimistic that anything will, and I'd be very happy to be wrong about that.
