For anyone who has experience with the latest version of Dexcom, as well as the freestyle, libre sensors, I have some questions.
Let’s say that I plan to get a second braille display. I currently have a brilliant BI 40 X. I have played with the braille since six and there are things about it I really liked. I have also heard some really good things about the mantis, but I’ve never laid hands on one of them. I would like some pros and cons. Also, I am willing to entertain other ideas not mentioned here if they pop up in the discussion.
For Leasey users who want to hear the ACB Convention coverage. All the stations are in the new radio directory, and this year, they have full titles: the stream numbers and the kind of information they contain. So you can easily listen with your favourite player. They are all under the Public Community and Speech category or you can search ACB.
#LeaseyLoveIf this really happens, I will definitely upgrade my watch in 2027.
https://mastodon.social/@appleinsider/114693136210307961It has been a long time coming, but episode 12 of the Pauls Place talks about a number of things including why I switched from DirecTV to YouTube TV. I also mention some podcasts I enjoy, although this list is not exhaustive. Finally, some good learning resources for the Mac and iOS are included. Enjoy.

I am not at my computer and the question is about to drive me to distraction. Is it function key plus backspace, or something else? Thanks for getting this thing out of my head!
About three weeks ago, a friend told me about an Audible book entitled James. It is a reimagining of Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn from the viewpoint of Jim, the slave in that story. My friend, who is sighted, specifically told me that the narrator was excellent. I am rereading The adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn before I read the new novel. The narrator for Tom Sawyer is Patrick Fraley and he does an excellent job. I was going to listen to Huck Finn as read by Elijah Wood, but since Fraley read both books, I think I will stick with him. I have fond memories of Tom Sawyer as read by Burt Blackwell, and Huck Finn read by Jim Walton on Talking Book. I wish NLS had digitized more of those original recordings even if the quality may be lesser than a reissue. Those were the days.
Hi all, if you haven't checked your App Store notifications today, the Meta View app has now changed its name with new content to the Meta AI app for the Ray Bans.
I went ahead and canceled the DirecTV service and signed up for YouTube TV. The experience was pretty much painless. I got an offer of $59 for the first two months plus a two day free trial. I know this has been discussed recently, but I apparently did not save the post. How does one access audio described content on YouTube TV from an iPhone?
I signed up for DirecTV's streaming service last year and have used it some. I'm not happy with the mediocre accessibility of the service. If I cancel my subscription contract early, I will pay $340. I want a service of some kind and was wondering if YouTube TV is a lot more accessible than DirecTV. If it is, I might switch. If not, I may just stick with what I currently have. My contract runs out in October 2026. All thoughts are welcome.
