UEmancer and Source-eress just trying to get by.
Still some stuff to work out (the head is not rigged at all, which who cares, that's a placeholder, and the boots break when ragdolled which does need a fix) but I got an NPC model in using the base I modeled a while back so I have a couple more options for stuff (and functionality implementation like the whole "multiple head choices" thing) while I develop my rudimentary AI systems.
I think that's nice.
The last couple days I've been learning topology with the goal of making a nice base mesh I can adjust, scale up or down, and then use for my characters.
I think it worked well, especially for the low-fi end.
LB: Welp, looks like I'm actually not allowed to tell them to not use my stuff for AI...
Spent some time today learning Godot under the tutelage of one of my partners.
Easy engine to pick up!
Still sick but trying to make some progress anyway, decided to knock out some drinks to use as a testbed for my item system and eventually ship with maybe.
Had some time and a bit of urge to do light painting so I began work on the texture for the Hi-Power model for one of my side projects. Progress is going slowly but I'm finally putting some of the old diffuse-only texture tutorials I have saved to good use. :)
