CLAPTRAP IS BACK
(and no I’m not interested in your hate Claptrap is precious and you need to talk to a therapist) #Borderlands
Yo #Destiny2 folks, here’s a good pre-expansion tip I got from my clan: you might want to consider removing mods from your armor. There was a time a year or two ago when they made big changes to mods and a bunch of stuff was broken for a few days.
There’s an easy way to automate this with DIM (Destiny Item Manager):
- search for “is:armor” (without the quotes)
- In the three dots menu on the right, choose “Strip Sockets”
- A dialog appears that can strip all shaders, ornaments, and mods
- I only selected mods (fashion matters and IMO isn’t likely to break)
- I had 534 mods to remove
- The process will take a while, probably since DIM doesn’t want to hammer the API
- Mine has taken around 2 hours and probably needs 30 min more
- Servers go down sometime early tomorrow morning to apply the update, which means DIM loses access
- If you want to do this, do it tonight
@mast0d0nphan Heathen! 😆
You could always sell it.
40 percent of the top 20 games on #Steam this year are from indie or AA studios, when sorted by peak concurrent player count.
Nature is healing.

Just saw a new indie game described as "a disco-like narrative adventure CRPG"
What the heckin is a disco-like
@mast0d0nphan I didn't really grow up with Nintendo, a couple friends had one and we played.
I had a brief affair with the Switch 1 when it launched, was into the whole format. But the more I learned about the actual company, I've soured so hard on it.
And an important detail, to me, is that we have *zero* shortage of great games to play these days. Nintendo has long stopped being the only game in town for the types of games it makes.
Personally not bothering with a Switch 2.
