@IWriteAllDay_ Yeah, recently a (well-meaning) person put a content warning on a reply to us under the reasoning that our username was "the q-slur"

We had a productive conversation about it, and it's fine, but that someone being like "your existence is triggering" seems a lot more like a them-problem than a you-problem.

@bitomag @IWriteAllDay_ I've been having a hard time taking CW culture seriously lately after seeing and hearing about literal news orgs needing to CW their articles, about the topics for which their news org is made.

2. The response to "just enable Always Expand CW Content" is that there's no granularity to the system. Disreagrding my feelings in #1, *IF* I were to accept that, that means *all* CW content is expanded. What if I actually want to see posts about trans issues, or as @IWriteAllDay_ pointed out institutional racism, but I don't want to have some cop murder video auto expanded?

My current thoughts on the CW thing so far as I've seen it are twofold:

1. No I absolutely will not censor the fact that I'm trans and live a life dealing with trans issues because it hurts your feefees to read it. Fuck you.

I obviously don’t plan on posting anything gruesome or anything like that. But asking people to CW things like institutional racism due to discomfort is a “no”. Thanks.
