Living in Klanada while Boricua (Puerto Rican) can be challenging as very few peeps really understand what it means to be from Borike and all the experiences that that entails. After all there’s only about 200 of us spread out in this vast colonial territory and most live in Toronto for some fuckin reason. Canadian media don’t spend a lot of time talking about #PuertoRico, except to comment on #BadBunny and activists and militants up here don’t give much attention a what the fuck is happening in the oldest colony in the world. Well behold an entertaining and educational podcast that not only warms my heart and helps me reconnect with who I am and where I come from, but also lays out historical tidbits and eloquently communicates what it means to be Boricua. Yet another Norfolk Southern train has derailed in Ohio, this time outside of #Springfield.

"Around 20 rail cars on a Norfolk Southern train derailed around 5 p.m. near the on the state Route 41 crossing, just north of the Clark County Fairgrounds."

Found this graphic novel about #hiphop history called “Hip Hop Family Tree” by Ed Piskor at the library. It´s super cool and it even included the bit about Kate Schellenbach being kicked out of the Beastie Boys for not being a "boy" But … it’s in fuckin French! Yep it’s a translation and I keep cracking up seeing all these rappers from NYC rapping in French.
