Living in Klanada while Boricua (Puerto Rican) can be challenging as very few peeps really understand what it means to be from Borike and all the experiences that that entails. After all there’s only about 200 of us spread out in this vast colonial territory and most live in Toronto for some fuckin reason. Canadian media don’t spend a lot of time talking about #PuertoRico, except to comment on #BadBunny and activists and militants up here don’t give much attention a what the fuck is happening in the oldest colony in the world.
