🆘 We received an urgent call from the hospital asking us to come immediately. I am Asma, Diyaa’s sister, and what I am about to write is the hardest thing I have ever had to say.

💔 My brother Diyaa is still in the intensive care unit. The doctors have informed us that his condition has become critically serious. If he does not receive the treatment he urgently needs within the next 12 hours, they will be forced to amputate his leg tomorrow.

😭 When my father heard this news, he collapsed from shock and lost consciousness. Even now, we do not know how to tell our mother and my younger sisters, who are waiting for us to return to the tent. I swear I cannot find the words to tell them what is happening.

💔 Today, my father and I were asked to sign the consent form for the amputation as a last resort if treatment cannot be provided in time. Our hands were shaking as we signed this heartbreaking decision, something we never imagined we would face.
