I just blocked my first account. I almost replied to a post with something angry - it would have been deserved - but hit the block button instead.

It feels wonderful.

"China now perceives a likelihood that Russia will fail to prevail against Ukraine and emerge from the conflict a “minor power”, much diminished economically and diplomatically on the world stage, according to Chinese officials...“Le was demoted by two levels of seniority,” said one person familiar with the issue. “He was held responsible for the intelligence failure on Russia’s invasion.”"

I loved @mmasnick's takedown of the "Twitter Files" story. My only complaint is that it's too long for the target audience.

So I did a tl;dr version:

Everything you know about the "Twitter Files" is probably wrong

A hard drive full of files from Hunter Biden's laptop really isn't an interesting news story. Just ask Mike Masnick

New from me:

It's now clear that for years, Little Rock cops were conducting dangerous, reckless, and illegal drug raids.

Last month, two detectives admitted that all drug warrants in LR are served with no-knock raids, and one detective also admitted to destroying evidence about how he obtained the warrants for those raids.

There's also evidence that alleged drug purchases made by informants were fabricated.

Exclusive: Under oath, Little Rock narcotics officers say they destroyed evidence, routinely violated the Fourth Amendment

In depositions for a lawsuit over a no-knock raid, two detectives admit to systemic abuses, although perhaps without realizing it
