This is the first photo I took of my new girlfriend in 1993. It’s a bit worn. It was taken with what was already a vintage Polaroid B&W camera from the early 70s that my Dad had passed off to me.

It’s a bit rough, because it spent years in the visor of my truck…but as we close in on our 30th anniversary, it’s all the more meaningful.

I pulled it out because one of my sons came home from the vintage shop with a similar era Polaroid he got for his partner, who’s a photographer.
