She just got back from surgery. Spayed, blood test, microchipped, they threw in a complimentary nail trim. Over $400 which is tough but I've been saving up for it. Extra charge since she was pregnant - apparently she was slightly anemic due to being pregnant, giving birht, and then getting pregnant *AGAIN* right around when she started coming inside. So she may well be my mother's kitten's mother. Gotta wait I guess to hear if she's got any horrible diseases.

Apparently my frame of reference of cats is really off, she is actualy really tiny. When I went to the pet store to get her some goodies to make thsi all suck less (vortex toy with the ball trapped in it and cardboard in the middle to scratch, a kicker toy, and a bunch of fancy canned cat food and tube treats along with her new name tag), they had some cats up for adoption that were like four times her size. She's 13 inches long, 6 inch diameter neck, 10 inch diameter chest, cannot find *shit* that fits her that isn't for kittens and the pet store only had some really ugly patterns for kitten collars, nothing nice like a simple solid black. So she's still stuck with this droopy thing.
