Is Oxide hardware made by Super Micro (or any other OEM/ODM)? FAQ Friday #40
@dan @irene @elba i suppose it is probably a bad time to tell you how old i was in 2000
@irene @elba also was surprised by how small it was...everything's bigger in Texas
My diploma from UW arrived today. In a final fuck you from the school, the bottom corner is folded. It really encapsulates my whole experience there. Can't decide if I should frame it or burn it.
@dev i feel overstimulated by this sign. like which words go together? which is ironic, since it was presumably shooting for minimalism.
@atsuzaki i have been told that "normal" people experience zero pain on a daily basis, but i believe it's a lie exactly because of this. on the other hand, i've been told the fact that i say exactly that is, in fact, a reflection of the fact i have a chronic pain condition
@dev @irene @dan it was bizarrely balanced as an item of food. Like the jello was sweet and then the strawberries were a bit tart to offset it. The pretzels meant it wasn't all mushy. It's like someone learned about the principles of cooking and then went by the letter of the law rather than the spirit. Mildly cursed but strangely tasty
@atsuzaki i dunno what the restaurant aesthetic is in portland, but in seattle it is "the fucking worst acoustics" in the form of large rooms with concrete walls
@atsuzaki this makes me wonder why we don't actually sell soup in boba cups with a straw...like italian wedding soup with mini meatballs
Vickie would, in fact, steal a car. She has committed herself to a life of piracy since her eye ulcer ruptured, and she had to get her eye removed. She's doing great though and has been menacing me and Void * by running into us at ramming speed with her cone. Watch out on the seven seas for this deadly cutie.
