@film_girl @harpaa01 If it makes you feel any better I did buy it but mine came with a damaged dust jacket. I didn’t think it was a big deal so just threw it away and never did anything about it. Now that seems to have made a huge difference on its value!
@tchaten I am very close to doing this myself. One concern I have is that I often need to use my laptop to run a Keynote presentation via HDMI. Does running the iPad as an external monitor mean you can no longer use HDMI out for another display?

@jsnell Have you seen that Kuxiu have just released a new version of their iPad arm that uses the Smart Connector to charge the iPad while it’s docked? I think it’s very clever and makes me wish more companies made use of the Smart Connector.

@sigmund I would love that. I know I’m not supposed to have this opinion, but I thought the Touch Bar was awesome! It could have been better, maybe if more apps had supported it, but just for spelling suggestions I found it very useful!
@jelly In my experience, put it on display to impress guests for several months and eventually throw it away. (My wife makes amazing gingerbread houses, but neither of us particularly likes gingerbread)
@snazzyq I feel your pain. I have multiple Kindle Voyage readers because I still think it’s the best model they made in that form factor. Best hand feel, nicest materials, actual buttons, magnets in the back that work with an amazing 1st party origami case. No Paperwhite or even Oasis matches it.
@dmoren I tried to upgrade through my carrier. They told me that all 15 pro models are back ordered due to supply issues. The person I spoke to said they ordered 15,000 this week and only 900 arrived.
@ismh Looking at that image, specifically the iMac and iBook, caused a genuine visceral reaction in me. I spent so long reading those pages of their website, longing to own either one when I was a poor student. That’s what I love about retro tech. For me it brings back feelings and memories, as strongly as songs or smells can. Transporting me back in time. Love it!

@imyke Great episode! For bags, have you come across Troubadour? I was looking for a smart bag to use for work that was tech focused & found them online. They have beautiful products, have great warranties & sustainability policies. Plus they are London based and have a shop near Carnaby Street where you can go and try their products instead of viewing everything online. They seem like a great brand and I’m very happy to support them. The bag I bought has been amazing!

@dcseifert the one that gets me is when you see close ups of people texting in the UK and the first option in the app tray is for Apple Pay which isn’t available here. Happens constantly in Ted Lasso.
