@derek @aral Many years ago I was assigned to a small project where one of the stated outcomes was the elimination of 10 FTEs. I asked what an FTE was and was told "full time employee". It's real easy to talk about eliminating people if you don't call them people.
Edit: Yes, I'm aware that FTE may mean Full Time Equivalent but that's not what I remember the person saying.

Dust scatters shorter wavelengths of light, so blue areas are where the dust is thinner and orange areas are where the dust is more dense.

Just Tom... 🐁I was brought up in a period of austerity. We had, only four years before I was born, and at huge cost in lives and money, ended a war against fascism. Everything was in short supply. Despite this we managed to build a welfare state, the NHS, hundreds of thousands of homes and rebuild the infrastructure damaged by warfare. Let nobody tell you that these things are unaffordable now - austerity now is a political choice foisted on those with the least.
