@ifilljustice What is the solution? If they are elected then they will need campaign money to stay in office. Our supreme court would be just as bought as our representatives.

ScottMGS@derek @aral Many years ago I was assigned to a small project where one of the stated outcomes was the elimination of 10 FTEs. I asked what an FTE was and was told "full time employee". It's real easy to talk about eliminating people if you don't call them people.
Edit: Yes, I'm aware that FTE may mean Full Time Equivalent but that's not what I remember the person saying.
@iyalei The Z was remarkably good with the roller bearings to assist and if you took it easy on the xy movement. Anyway, I mostly dabble with the occasional part design for work. I rely a lot on FreeCAD for most of my design.
@iyalei It took constant adjustment and frequent hardware store visits. The plexiglass was added later. The original used nothing but threaded rod and printed joints for the frame.
@iyalei Everyone is spoiled with all the cool stuff. I started with Reprap. This was my previous machine, built by hand and laser cutter.
@iyalei On second look it appears you have their larger model. Mine is an Ender3pro.
@iyalei I believe we're talking about the same thing. I also upgraded my controller to their silent board from my old 16bit original. HUGE difference.
@iyalei I have the same model. Do youself a favor and get the glass and polycarbonate surface. It's flatter than the metal plate, gives great adhesion and when cooled the piece just lifts right off.
