Gr@ve_Rose (Neutral Good - Male - Human) He/Him

I've been hacking computers in some form or another since about 1984. I've been working in #InfoSec and #NetSec since 1997 and am always trying to learn more as I go and to use that knowledge to help others learn.

I want to help hackers become networkers and networkers become hackers. I've spent a lot of time in engineering and architecture roles as well as part of Red Teams and am currently the CSO of the company I work for.

My major give-back to the community is https://tcpdump101.com which helps people build PCap syntax and commands for multiple platforms. It is all HTML, JavaScript and CSS so you can download it and run it locally without the need for a server. I'm currently working on version 2.0 which can be found at https://dev.tcpdump101.com

In addition to tech stuff, I'm a musician (classically trained on drums, guitar and trombone), a DnD nerd, a father and a gamer (vids and board). Always down for virtual coffee. :)

When the service provider suggests (and supports) using unicode characters in your password:

Merry Solstice to my Wiccan/Pagan friends.

And to everyone else who just wants a reason to celebrate!

Nailed it on the first case update.
How long before they call, do you think?

With a smaller, more tight-knit follower base here, I really can't wait to create and share content with everyone. I want to help turn hackers into networkers and networkers into hackers.

Stupid "real-life" getting in the way. Soon, friends. Soon.

Using #Rapid7 to perform a VA before an assumed-breach internal #PenTest.

I wonder who I should target first... πŸ™ƒβ€‹

#hacker fam:

@2600 is finally part of the #fediverse

since it’s #FF give them a follow!

I updated my bio to reflect a more proper #introduction
