Heute endet die #Atomenergie in 🇩🇪. Viele, die sich nie um CO2 geschert haben oder gar mitgemacht haben, als Solar- und Windenergie ausgebremst wurden, weinen jetzt Krokodilstränen über das Klima 😳.
Dabei ist der CO2-Ausstoß der Kraftwerke durch den EU Emissionshandel gedeckelt.

“Zwei Grafiken für alle, die sagen ohne Atomausstieg hätten wir jetzt weniger CO2-Emissionen. Die hätten wir auch ohne AKW, wenn die Merkelregierung nicht den Photovoltaik-Zubau 2013 und Windkraft-Zubau 2018 mit Absicht dezimiert hätte. Die Energiewende wurde gezielt ausgebremst.”

The actual electricity generation (not just capacity) by the planned renewables addition next year alone in Germany corresponds to the output of 3 nuclear plants. In 2025, more than 4. By 2030 it will correspond to a total of 30 nuclear plants.

I hope everyone reporting on Germany shutting down 3 nuclear ☢️ plants today will also report this fact 🙂! And the fact that we already generate far more renewable electricity than we ever produced with nuclear plants.
