Most definitely.

โ€œOnce men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.โ€

There should be a word for this spaced-out sense of rage and alienation that comes from watching jackbooted thugs murder civilians and threaten WW3, and still having to, like, brush your teeth and pick up your dry cleaning and take your cat to the vet and stuff.
Mark Warner with a great statement on #Venezuela and Trump's violation of the rule of law.
This message hits hard.
@GraeghosMIUS @andrewstroehlein I have the app. There is hardly any company not on the boycott list. Smaller companies and startups are OK but they get bought up by Nestle, Unilever, Pepsi...
@andrewstroehlein I've always wondered if the international community stopping all trade with any country acting aggressively to their neighbors would stop or greatly reduce conflicts. It would certainly effect their economies and put pressure on the aggressive gov.

#Oops: The seminal (strongly influencing later developments) paper that has been used for 25 years to justify that the use of #Glyphosate is safe has been retracted.

"Concerns were raised regarding the authorship of this paper, validity of the research findings in the context of misrepresentation of the contributions by the authors and the study sponsor and potential conflicts of interest of the authors. "

a moment of recognition of the passing of the great #reggae vocalist Jimmy Cliff at age 81..a remarkable talented man whose dynamic performances and voice that emerged from Jamaican poverty brought joy & inspiration to millions around the globe. His international career breakthru came with starring role in the film The Harder They Come in 1972, but he'd already had a greatest hits album out 2 years earlier in Jamaica, where'd he'd been making hit records since the early 60's!

I only got to see the great #JimmyCliff perform live once, at a Californa county fair of all places, but he delivered the goods live, and I recall was promoting his early 90's musical hybrid he called "Samba Reggae", a trend that I doubt ever caught on, but his exuberance was contagious none the less.
