@steve Well, 1% of people are in the top 1%. So if you're doing trials you multiply each "top X%" number by X, then normalize then all so their sum is 100%.
@jzb It should be possible: you can run Linux on many Android phones, and then there are music players for Linux. Or, it looks like you can compile Rockbox to run on Linux.
I think it's not trivial, but this could be your next hobby.

Ah, the Biden administration.... I'm really happy that Biden is the first US President to take climate change even half-seriously. Raising fees for drilling on Federal land is good; raising the royalties that go to the Federal budget is fine.
But, it'd be better if the crisis was taken fully seriously: why why are we still drilling for gas?

This is crucial.
Meta won't let people delete their Threads account unless they also delete their Instagram account. That's Meta's Berlin Wall around Threads, designed (though they will have lots of "technical" reasons why it isn't) to prevent Threads users leaching into the Fediverse.
The wall must fall.
