logging into masto to clear the dust off my account as one does when Twitter is being Twitter.
Anyone tried Counter Social as their twitter alternative? Seems like a mastodon fork. Not sure if it's fit or not?

Be intentional and mindful with how you interact with Mastodon.
You're not getting any content pushed on you anymore. You get to choose your instance and all of the content you interact with. You're in control of populating your timeline. You have a chance to start fresh with a new platform that isn't making money off of your outrage and keeping you engaged on the site. It's much easier to make healthier choices about interactions.

Terry Cavanaghohhh, for other people who've just arrived: you can disable "advanced interface" in the settings, and you get a much more normal looking timeline now (thanks @[email protected])
I don't particular like Mastodon but holy shit Twitter.
