The public park of Saint François-Xavier in Colmar is located in the ancient religious center of the Jesuits. Among the fine trees in the park are swamp cypresses, ginkos, and European beeches. When visiting Colmar try to relax in this nice green space.

This is a view of the fortress of the Austrian city of Kufstein. The city and the fortress changed possession multiple times in history between Bavaria and Austria. First mentioned in 1205, it acted as a prison for political dissidents during the later Habsburg times. Today it houses a museum.

This is a photo of the central square (Náměstí Svornosti) of Český Krumlov. It feature the city hall (radnice). The building was constructed in 1598 on the foundation of an earlier house. It is constructed in the Renaissance style. At the top of the building there is an attic on which sit seven vases in Rococo style.

The Maison Adolph in the historic inner city of Colmar, France, was probably built around 1350. That makes it one of the oldest surviving building in Colmar. In subsequent years it was multiple times modified and renovated. A number of windows are in Gothic style. The top floor was added in later times.

This photo was shot from the Kufstein fortress hill. You get a great view of the inner city of Kufstein and the surrounding mountains. The church Holy Vitus is featured prominently in the center. It was built in about 1420 in Gothic style but later changed to Baroque style.

Kufstein is located in Tyrol, Austria, right at the border with Bavaria.
