Impressive photo of the meeting of the European leaders and the Ukrainian president Volodimir Zelenskiy.
The composition, the bodies - it deserves to become a painting one day.

#NorthMacedonia continues its sinking into the swamp of political timelessness.
After the nationalists from #VMRO -DPMNE, now their supposedly pro-EU #Albanian partners from #VLEN are stopping the inclusion of the local #Bulgarians in the country's constitution.
They live in #Macedonia for centuries' but are subject of discrimination. Their inclusion in the constitution, along with other nationalities, is a requirement of the EU for the start of membership negotiations.

VLEN Coalition Extends Deadline for Including Bulgarians in North Macedonia Constitution

The ethnic Albanian coalition VLEN, a member of the VMRO-DPMNE government in North Macedonia, has extended the 6-month deadline to add Bulgarians to the North Macedonia Constitution, Skopje media said on Friday. The coalition initially set a 6-month deadline as a prerequisite for joining the government, but that deadline was pushed aside after the elections, even though the constitutional changes and ongoing negotiations with the EU were pre-election priorities. VLEN attributed this decision to political instability in Bulgaria, rather than pressure from government partner VMRO-DPMNE.

It is a very interesting analysis (written in Russian) about the "battle" for the transport corridors in Black sea-Caspian region and Mediterranean sea, which must connect the Central Asia and South Caucasus with the states from European Union and NATO.

What happened to liberal conservatism?

The liberal side of the Tory tradition is everywhere in retreat. Much depends on whether it can reassert itself
