Upon learning at the age of 95 that she had three living first cousins, my husband's Holocaust survivor grandma, who'd lost her entire nuclear family, said: "Now I now why I lived so long. I lived so long so I could see this day."

Hey #Geneadons! Many years ago, I started a genealogy blog...and then I got sick. (that is the punch line to my life, lol)

I am ready to give blogging another go. The old one was on Wordpress. I am sure after 14 years that there are new and improved options, so please bombard me with recommends!

I am in The US and reasonably tech savvy, but the easier the platform, the better. And free is a must as I am hopelessly frugal.

GenealogyTimeTraveler here in Central Texas . Aka Eileen...previously @lonebeader (WhistlingWomanCreations) on Twitter. Researching over 30 years. Mostly Scottish roots, also Irish, English with bits of 3-4 others tossed in. New to this program, so not sure what I am doing lol
