If you're like me, you've been blitzed with misinformation ads on news articles lately, with titles like "Justin finally addresses rumours" and "Jagmeet suffers fatal accident on live TV".
I decided to open one of the ads in a private browser session. There's a fake Toronto Star article with screenshots from a fake CTV News interview.
Who is paying for all these ads? And why is the ad service allowing this rampant misinformation and trademark infringement?
