Blue Peter Fourth Book has far, far more information within it than you might think.
It has taken a day and a half, and I have foregone sleep, but there is far more information readied for the Blue Peter Book posts. I have also scheduled a post (on indexes others are writing) for Substack later.
The plan was that I would churn out digest histories for the rest of the year, but there is a great deal which others have overlooked which needs some attention.
Some of the resources I am using might get uploaded as general reference material for others to make use of as well.

When I am tracking down information on an obscure artist from the 1750s it is faster and easier to crack open some books than fight search engines to get the details I require...

and The Second Book of Blue Peter https://ko-fi.com/post/The-Second-Book-of-Blue-Peter-J3J210MUDI in a single post each, but The Third Book of Blue Peter is going to be split into either two or three posts.
There is a great deal to cover, and the Blue Peter wiki is going to need to add several thousand pages to their site to accommodate everything uncovered by the time I am done...
The second book is being attacked at the moment, with numerous dates being added in before I am happy to share. There is a vast amount of historical reference in this book, and a great number of puzzling inaccuracies which have been addressed. I fear that a complete analysis might take a little longer than anticipated though.
I'm not particularly happy sharing it in such an incomplete state, but most of the information hasn't been brought together anywhere.
For those interested, the first Blue Peter book has been thoroughly analysed - I'm still awaiting word on it's publication date (if that exists), but I've attempted to assign credit to what can be confirmed, figured out that the giant photograph might be of a rarely-seen February, 1964 performance of The Hollies, and more.
