I think I may have found the mystery werewolf film that was briefly touched upon in a post a while ago, and am excited to see if Wolfen Ninja is the film I tried to remember.

The screenshots look absolutely amazing.

Wolfen Ninja (1982)

Wolfen Ninja is a Joseph Lai retitling of a Pearl Cheung film called Wolf-Devil Woman (see also Phoenix The Ninja, his retitling of Cheung’s Miraculous Flower). Lai – notorious for chop…

Some things should not be revisited. I knew there were a couple of properties that I would feel weird going back to, but holy shit, Wizard was a really messed-up magazine. I'm not sure what to do with this realization.

Planning ahead. If my maths are correct - and there is ample evidence that my skills with numbers is not to be trusted - then this should take about two months to get through.

We all know what happened when I said the Annual Guide was a quick little job. And everything since that...

Yes, it's ugly.
No, I don't care.

I'm just glad to be done.

A quick and rough costume design sketch (c.1998?) for a superhero that was *meant* to be as mainstream as I could possibly make him.

Called Pulse, because he was sorta a butterfly-man. Completely innocent, and suitable for readers of all ages.

These days I would be tempted to use the title "The Throbbing Adventures of Pulse" as a title.

To think I insisted on calling myself completely straight up until a couple of years ago... *sigh*

One of the safer things found while clearing out the boxes. This is likely c.199? (maybe 1997, but there's no way to tell).

The Hawks have a definite influence from Sam Keith, and the close-up of the face owes a lot to Diabolik.

And no, I have no idea what is going on with the man in the hat. While I don't *think* this was part of the prep for 7A, it might have been vague ideas of where to take the story.

After all these years, your guess is as good as mine.

This was a thing in 1987. I don't know how, but it was.

And I *really* don't need to see people "wearing" these anywhere not recommended by the manufacturer...
