i would propose that we stop referring to desantis as engaged in culture war. that gives it a veneer of respect, as if it's *for* something. it's not. it's a war against rights, a war *on* americans (literally against americans). it's orbanism, yes, and in the same way it's designed to degrade america as a place for all.
