Want to make more sense of this platform?

Download Ice Cubes for iOS or Tusky for Android. Scrap the Mastodon app.

Why?

1–They look/feel more like Twitter

2–Follow people, post, and have fun.

Hope that’s helps. Please boost if useful.

Why do we say "phoenix" when we could say "Molotov Cockatiel"?

When I get to 100,000 followers on Mastodon I will officially bring Mastodons back from extinction.

Boost and favorite this post to help make this happen ASAP.

Native Land is a resource to learn more about Indigenous territories, languages, lands, and ways of life. We welcome you to our site.

@ksonney Man I'm trying, but everywhere else is invite-only. That's how I ended up here in the first place.
@hollie Thanks for the tip! I've given this some thought, and I'd like to migrate to a smaller instance, but it's easier said than done. I can't find a general instance or an appropriate niche instance that's open. It's a little bit frustrating. I'm going to stay on mastodon.social and hope that more instances open up once the big migration from the birdsite slows down.

Them: Faving posts on Mastodon is useless, only the OP sees it.

Me, when a post gets faved: awwww, little internet hug ✨

they put a christmas sweater on the t-rex at the national history museum in london and it's ridiculous and adorable

My household bought some store-made cornbread for stuffing. But it's so sugary that we put chocolate frosting on it and we're eating it as cake. Win-win!

We're trying something different this year. We're going to cook over the weekend, and then we'll spend the week eating.

Asking the important questions here on Mastodon: Sweet cornbread or regular?

(I tagged the post with American Thanksgiving, but the question is for anybody who eats cornbread.)
