Hope I'm threading this properly - an instance I was considering migrating to is may cut off the main mastodon.social I'm on now for allowing to many fascists through (definitely something I don't want to be a part of!)
If I build a profile around say, 3 main topics (art, science, cycling) and then my server is cut off from 1 of them, that's a hard-to-swallow change out of my control. Different accounts for different interests? (I do that a bit already off Mastodon.)
Struggling with the culture change here as I try a few alt platforms.
I understand the sensitivity & content warnings - but a feed of blurred images from people I chose to follow isn't fun.
Another instance shared a surprising list of image types that should be behind content warnings. Wanted to share, but need to log in again cuz it's a different server.
