If we move I'm worried I'll have trouble making friends, or finding people to hang out with. It seems like people don't just casually hang out there like they do here.
But we wouldn't have to worry as much about retirement, healthcare costs later in life, rent prices…
If we stay I honestly doubt we'd be able to afford it long term with how much our rent has gone up, to say nothing about retirement or health insurance.
But there are people to do stuff & hang out with literally every weekend. And people are so dang chill and easygoing…
We have the opportunity to move to Germany, and I don't know what the right decision is x.x
The bay area has a social fabric unlike anything I've ever seen, and likely ever will.
But Germany has free healthcare, better work/life balance, better public infrastructure…
