Jake Broe thinks the US veto on Storm Shaddow is due to the NATO structure of Supreme Allied Command reporting to the US. I share it here for completeness but no way.
There is no way the UK government would be dictated to on policy by a foreign unelected civil servant. It’s laughable. The UK may trade the policy for something else or more likely honour a legal framework, as law is basically a core industry of the UK.
I hold that most likely, US tech is in the kill chain for this missile so the UK respects the US right to veto.
