Do you recommend I move to a server with a better reputation?

My impression is that Bambu wants to become the Apple of 3D printers. "It just works" as long as you don't go outside our walled garden, but they have a Chinese legal mindset rather than USA. My vote is for a Prusa (disclaimer: My 3D's a Creality K1)

I was. Oldest sibling had one. I used to know how use it, but tried a couple years ago. Realised I'd forgotten how.
@abulling
If they're usefully short (1-2m), I keep them with my samples in case I need that colour or have small prints, or am nearby for a manual change on a use-up print. My printer has a runout sensor. Others with AMS or similar that can auto- change spools at run-out. Keep samples separated by type PLA/PETG/Etc
@lauren
They don't make them like they used to. Mine's over 24 years old; it was there when I bought the place. The 32yr old washer died a few years ago.
A quick warning for the #3dprinting folks, particularly those on #Printables. Just posted a few models and got this really iffy scam, the link looks for credit card details. Reported to Prusa support, but be careful folks
@b0rk
My work seems to use Del or ^H in their terminal sessions, depending on who/ when the machine was set up. #annoying inconsistency.
@AdamRGrey
Point of fact. Someone else alerted printables to the licence issue, not the new owners. Same effect, but they're not to blame.

Been there, we've all done that. Good strong ex- hard drive magnets either directly on the carpet or via the vacuum cleaner. They'll turn up after a few months :) Not sure about the ozone though.
@SilentMobius
Ditto. I use the slicer for printing or testing, CAD for permanent changes.
