Understanding the creation, content, distribution, and susceptibility is one of today’s key scientific and societal challenges.
Researching this is not free speech infringement. Such a claim is intentionally misleading.
Fact checking investment 💶
Some places dismantle fact-checking. Others invest in them.
New initiative to support European fact-checking network.
The Commission has launched a call for proposals to support the growth of a European Network of Fact-Checkers, in line with President von der Leyen’s 2024–2029 political guidelines, which introduced the European Democracy Shield initiative.

Everyone think they are immune to manipulation and propaganda, but the truth is nobody is. Not even me and not even you.
Algorithm manipulation works very slowly and it is easier to get caught in it than you think.
Our only defense is to preemptively curate what we feed our brains carefully. Be very cautious about what you feed to your brain. Favor direct information sources that you trust rather than easy automated feeds and algorithmic recommendations.
Remain vigilant at all time.
