Just last night, I gathered with 3 other community members at our local #library #makerspace and we sewed bags and fabric gift wrap. /fin
The #GirlScoutJunior troop raised just under $400 and purchased fabric cutting mat, cutter, red #BoomerangBags labels and have started this group and allow it to sustain itself for years in the future in our community
...as well as to talk about why #BoomerangBags helped to reduce #PlasticWaste in our #oceans and to welcome other townspeople to come and sew bags with them
They held multiple workshops at our local library to take fabric donations from the community
My #JuniorGirlScout troop fundraised in 2019 to start our chapter of #boomerangbagssudbury in Metrowest Boston
