I'm a UNIX and Security Admin (#DFIR and #BlueTeam), lifelong A's baseball fan, and I enjoy opera and early music. I sing, dance, and act, read voraciously, and plan to keep learning new things for as long as I can. @UnixGeekEm on Twitter. She/her. #BlackLivesMatter #TransRightsAreHumanRights

@tuban_muzuru It's very difficult to study for my exam this way but I am doing my best to accommodate the poor deprived beastie who has never been cuddled in his life.

@dpnash Well, he's being very extra as I try to work.

No, you can't type, you must be on the couch and I must be on your lap. I don't care if you have to study. Lap. Lap!

At the risk of causing pearls to be clutched, I am sniffing around for new jobs right now.

Do you need someone who can write suricata signatures and use wireshark? Maybe someone who knows how to hunt through troves of logs to find interesting or relevant info? someone with a past on the soc and a love for technical or security writing? I can do all this and more!

I am currently updating my resume, but am happy to provide references and skills on request. I have spoken at pancakescon a couple of times, have been a guest on RunZero Hour a couple of times, and have written some deep dive blog posts that I'm pretty proud of.

I am located in the eastern US, am a citizen of the US and have no criminal record.

requirements: must be able to work remote, though I am willing to do occasional work travel. Must not be doing work for SPLC-designated hate groups or militaries. Will not do work for DHS/ICE.

If you are reading this and you work where I currently work, you didn't see this :)
