a striking photo of the wild bank building donning its summer coat. its bright coloration conceals its predatory nature; individuals of the genus Argentarius are sessile carnivores like pitcher plants or venus flytraps but preferring large mammalian prey. this "pride-coat" is a recent adaptation, widespread but contained to specific urban microbiomes where the twin pressures of gentrification and hegemonic assimilation are strongest. while this makes the biomes even more riotously colorful than usual, the corporations within are no less dangerous than the rest of the year - they have merely camouflaged themselves to better mimic the world around them!

i've been playing stardew valley again and i was looking at mods and i am NOT over the mod that lets you buy the community center rewards

that option is LITERALLY already in the game if you sign up for a joja membership and the whole POINT is that if all you want to worry about is maximizing profit and ease you can align yourself with the capitalist megacorp and the only real downside will be a lack of personal growth through exploration as well as a disconnect from your community

so someone saying "actually i want to be able to focus on profit margins but without any of the negative impacts of capitalism, i just want the forest spirits to recognize the value of money" is just. it's something lmfao.

@Canageek I also thought this, though I was thing about swine flu, which I'd caught during the outbreak. And don't get me wrong, it sucked, and being quarantined was a nightmare (lmao memories), but I just figured, those things blew over, this will too. I was mostly worried about the racism since it was already getting ugly even in February.
