Unf'n believable that we are witnessing a pos monstrous clown and circus dismantle our government. I will continue to fight for our democracy, freedom, rights and the planet. Not backing down ever.
Me: this is how bikes get repaired and recycled in this one small town.
- The junkyard guy leaves nice ones out by his gate for a day or two before dismantling them for scrap.
- there are several people in the town who know they can come past regularly and take anything by the gate
- there's a guy who takes any bikes he thinks we can salvage, they are almost always kids' bikes, there are just more of those
- a rotating group of friends and people who want to learn about bikes work on them
- when they're finished we distribute them by word of mouth: is there anyone around 6-8yo who wants a purple bike?
- the bikes seem to come with lifetime servicing. No one mentions this until the bike needs servicing, then they just say 'we better get onto servicing your bike, hey?' and it happens
- you can do a trade-in/upgrade. Kids swap their bikes for bigger bikes, people service the little bike and give it to another kid
-there is no name, no official location, no contact details for this, it's an ephemeral property that emerges from the community every day that the community has capacity to do it. It is fascinating and I am glad to have witnessed it.

Nick Martin@staidwinnow I believe everyone of conscience should leave Twitter. And in the long run, that includes the ADL. But if they did so right now, or in the near future, it would provide neo-Nazis with even more fuel for their hate.
The folks we should most be encouraging to leave are journalists, news outlets, politicians, etc., since their continued activity there is helping prop up the platform's reputation.

wife tested positive for covid. It's bad. Online Doc refused to prescribe #Paxlovid citing she's <50yrs. Said LongCovid isn't real and pretty much gaslit the thing.
PCP offices are closed.
CVS w/o prescription requires labwork that we don't have handy.
The blockers in the US #healthcare are systemic.
In GA, how might we get Paxlovid? Any ideas?
Dr. Damien P. Williams, MagusCovid tests and vaccines never should have stopped being free. High quality N95 masks should have been and should still be free. We should have rallied together and built something stronger and better and not let fear and political shills who wanted power and a quick buck divide us.
The people who knowingly and willfully politicized and weaponized COVID disinformation should, at the absolute least, step on a Lego or get a cat hair lodged in their sinuses, every day, for the rest of their lives.
They should never again know joy or peace until they admit what they did.
