Have a bunch of one-time code generators in Google Authenticator and want to move them to the new Passwords app?

Google Authenticator has an export feature that’ll export 10 generators at a time to a QR code: 🍔 > Transfer accounts > Export > Next

To open that QR code in Apple Passwords on the same device, screenshot it, open it in Photos, and tap and hold on the QR code.

Passwords will then let you associate each of the generators you exported with a password you have saved.

Keep Safe Using Mobile Tech is my latest book! Noticing a trend in mobile devices offering tools for personal safety (like Android’s Safety Check and Apple's iOS Check In), I collected all related features for iPhone & Android and Apple Watch & Wear OS watches into this title.

It helps you block abusive messages, track and recover your devices, coordinate with a safety partner, discover stalkers using trackers, monitor your heart, and call for help automatically.

Keep Safe Using Mobile Tech – Take Control Books

This book describes how to protect your physical, psychological, and online security related to your private data, whereabouts, and health and safety with tools available from Apple and Google on mobile devices, desktop operating systems from Apple and Microsoft, and accounts in the Apple, Google, and Microsoft ecosystems.

@SallyMonster ah, now caught up. If they are in your shed, let me know and I’ll take them.
@SallyMonster have you had them removed yet?
@wklj Congrats! I would’ve DNF’d at registration.
You heard that right in SOTU. Passwords is a SwiftUI app across all Apple platforms. SwiftUI app lifecycle, too.
