At the end of the day yesterday I still had coals in the forge so I rummaged in the scraps bin and found and old mower blade.
It was too thing and wide to forge well so I folded it and forge welded together, punched some holes in the tang and formed a blade. The handle is solid Kwila, and I used copper rivets. #knifemaking #blacksmith
