As a #songwriter, I tend to get stuck in one way of working. In my case, with the D28, a pen, and a light trance, the lyrics and a melody all come out of nowhere.

The other day I was going over a few old ideas with unfinished lyrics and I just typed up some new verses without the guitar or any singing. At first it seemed strange but I soon realised how much quicker I can get the lyrics right without playing around with the tune or the arrangement. Probably obvious but a first for me.
